Newbury Weekly News makes the headlines

Reporter: Reporter

THE Newbury Weekly News will make Meridian news headlines tonight, after scooping an award for paid-for weekly of the year.
The paper won the Newspaper Society award two weeks ago, after fending-off fierce competition from 65 shortlisted papers.
The local TV news channel paid a visit to the NWN's Newspaper House offices yesterday for a chat with chairman Jeremy Willis and editorial director Brien Beharrell.
They also ventured out on the town with reporter Sofia Zagzoule as she covered a local news story, and took a look at the paper's new £5.5million press.

Don't forget to read the Newbury Weekly News — Berkshire's largest–selling local newspaper — out each Thursday morning.
