Thatcham promotion confirmed by FA

THATCHAM TOWN will play in the new Southern League South and West Division next season after their expected promotion was confirmed by the FA on Thursday.
The FA's Leagues Committee rubber-stamped the blueprint for the new season, which saw the Sydenhams Wessex League's top three all win promotion – Winchester, Thatcham and Andover.
Hellenic Leaguers Didcot Town and Abingdon United will also join the new division, with Bishops Cleeve going into the Midlands section, while South Midlands League champions Oxford City will line up alongside Thatcham next term.
Thatcham's longest trip will be to Taunton Town in Somerset, with former Wessex Leaguers Bashley, Lymington and New Milton and Newport Isle of Wight also in the competition.
The full line-up is:- Abingdon Utd, Andover, Bashley, Beaconsfield SYCOB, Bracknell Town, Brook House, Burnham, Chesham Utd, Didcot Town, Hanwell Town, Hillingdon Borough, Lymington and New Milton, Marlow, Newport IoW, Oxford City, Paulton Rovers, Swindon Supermarine, Taunton Town, Thatcham Town, Uxbridge, Winchester City, Windsor and Eton.
