AN early evening collision in Shefford Woodlands caused delays for motorists across the area last night (Tuesday).
A silver Mercedes and a white Ford transit van were in collision on the B4000 Ermin Street.
The incident happened at around 6pm on the junction with the A338.
The driver of the Mercedes suffered chest pain and facial injuries, while the van driver complained to paramedics of side and elbow pain.
Fire fighters were called to the scene and extinguished one of the vehicles, after smoke was seen coming from it.
