THE funeral of Sian O'Callaghan, whose body was found near Uffington White Horse last month after she went missing from a Swindon nightclub, will be held today (Monday).
Miss O'Callaghan's disappearance from Suju nightclub in Swindon on March 19 sparked a major search by police and local villagers of Savernake Forest, a few miles west of Hungerford.
The 22-year-old's funeral will be held at Kingsdown Crematorium in Swindon at 3pm today.
The funeral is for family and close friends only but will be preceded by the cortege passing slowly through the Old Town area of Swindon in order to enable the public to pay their respects.
The family have requested that instead of flowers, donations be made to charities including Victim Support, Missing Persons, Wiltshire Search and Rescue and Prospect Hospice.
Donations can be made through Hillier Funeral Service in Victoria Road, Swindon.
Swindon taxi driver Christopher Halliwell, aged 47, has been charged with 22-year-old Miss O'Callaghan's kidnap and murder, and has been remanded in custody to await trial.
