THE man behind a Newbury milkshake, fruit smoothie and coffee bar has had so much success he is about to open up a second branch in Thatcham town centre.

Spencer Tarrant, who owns Mr Moo Juice, in West Mills, will open up a second branch in the Old Mews, High Street, Thatcham along with his business partner Lee Chard.

He said customers could expect a similar set up as the Newbury branch and that the plans to open up shop inThatcham came about after pupils from Kennet School, Thatcham, asked for a Mr Moo Juice in their area.

Both being former Kennet School pupils themselves, Mr Tarrant said that the prospect of opening up in the town was exciting.

“There’s been a popular demand for it,” he said. “The children have been on our backs on Facebook about it.

“They were pushing for it so we thought, let’s do it.”

He is expecting the new branch to be open by the end of next week.

Good to see a local business expanding in these times. I know they are also opening a kiosk in Parkway.
