Witnesses sought following Midgham break-in

policeWITNESSES are being sought after a Midgham house was broken into recently.

They used a brick to smash the rear kitchen window before reaching inside and opening it.

Nothing was stolen as police believe the offenders may have been disturbed.

A small dark coloured estate car was seen parked a few metres away from the house with its hazard lights on at the time the occupants returned.

Pc Mark Simpson, of Newbury police station said: “I would like to hear from anyone who noticed any suspicious activity in the area at the time.

“I would also like to speak with the occupant of this car as we believe that they may be able to help us with our enquiry.”
