Vee Hoggard is wife of fellow blogger John Hoggard whom she met when she was 11 but didn't fancy at all. She is a jack of many professions but expert only in the art of procrastination and cake making.
Fair Trade guru John is often found selling beads from Ghana and Alpaca knitwear from Peru at local events. He's lived in Hungerford for 12 years and takes craft and cycling tours to Ghana in the holidays.
John lived and studied in the North-East of England for twenty-four years before adopting Newbury as his home town in 1997. He would love to be a published author, but tries to ignore the fact that lots of other things keep getting in the way and he has yet to finish a novel...
Madeleine has lived in Newbury for 37 years, with a couple of short breaks (one to college in Newcastle and another brief one to Hungerford). She has 3 young daughters and works part-time as a web editor for a large software company.
