Paul moved to Thatcham four years ago from the Black Country and he has been cycling Berkshire ever since trying to discover new places. Many things in life keep Paul interested, from his Christian faith to his career and he is now looking forward to many adventures in a VW camper van named Caroline.

Tom is 23 years old and has lived in Newbury for most of his life. He has just moved back here after completing a degree in Environmental Science and International Development at the University of East Anglia, Norwich.

Henna is a local freelance personal trainer originally from Finland. She has her own business called Berkshire Fitness and as well as one-to-one training, runs a weight loss club, core strength, bootcamp and prime time classes. Henna also currently organises Race for Life free training days in order to raise money for Cancer Research.

Vee Hoggard is wife of fellow blogger John Hoggard whom she met when she was 11 but didn't fancy at all. She is a jack of many professions but expert only in the art of procrastination and cake making.

Nicci is a Newbury-based triathlete who competes at local, national and international level, with her most recent achievement being bronze at the European age group championships for Great Britain. In her spare time she also works full time as a transport planner.

George is Greek and was born in Zimbabwe. He has lived in Newbury for about 20 years and works at a local technology firm. He has a bias towards Italian food and enjoys playing sports as often as he can.

Hanna is 22 and has lived in Newbury all her life. She studied at St Bartholomew's school and then Newbury College, where she studied English, art and photography. She works for a local office firm but also enjoys freelance writing on a variety of subjects.

Madeleine has lived in Newbury for 37 years, with a couple of short breaks (one to college in Newcastle and another brief one to Hungerford). She has 3 young daughters and works part-time as a web editor for a large software company.

Anna is 25-years-old and is currently studying for a Diploma in Journalism. She lives in Wiltshire and works in Salisbury but has an interest in local news in the Berkshire and Wiltshire area.

Laura, who was born and raised in Newbury, has just moved back to the town after three years studying journalism in Southampton. She is a vegetarian interested in ethical living, animal and human rights, festivals and travelling.
