WILDMAN rocker Pete Doherty stunned locals at The Dundas Arms in Kintbury by strolling in for supper on Monday night. The Babyshambles frontman and former squeeze of supermodel Kate Moss is accustomed to making headlines for his rock and roll excesses. So did he leave a trail of destruction at the picturesque, 18th Century inn?Not a bit of it, insisted veteran licensee David Dalzell-Piper.Mr Dalzell-Piper said: “He came in with a lady friend on Monday night and enjoyed a meal of belly pork before staying the night.“I knew who he was and we had a nice chat about his forthcoming tour and recording work. I have to say he was very well-behaved and pleasant to talk to. When he left the next morning he was very complimentary and said he felt refreshed by his stay.”
