NEWBURY clinched a Berks and Bucks Intermediate Cup quarter final home tie with New Bradwell St Peter after beating United Counties League Olney Town 5-3 at Faraday Road on Saturday.A tie that tipped both ways saw Olney strike first when top marksman Stewart Allan beat Bobby Collard before firing past goalkeeper Richard Stewart, but Luke Ramos bundled home the equaliser six minutes before half-time and Danny Langford netted from a Jason Peters corner just before the interval.Newbury were on top after the re-start until Collard was caught in possession by Allan, who went on to net his second goal. But the hoe side hit back almost immediately with Craig Hill setting up Kalief Madden to turn and score.Langford struck again and although Allan completed his hat-trick with a smart finish, Hill completed the scoring at the start of stoppage time to seal Newbury’s last eight spot on February 27.
