West Berkshire along with the rest of the UK will feature in Google’s 3-d mapping service Street View as of today (Thursday). Previously the 360-degree street-level imagery only covered 25 cities across the country but today sees it rolled out to the rest of the UK.Google freely admits that some areas of West Berkshire have not yet been fully covered - including Newbury’s pedestrianised areas, parts of Speen and areas of London Road - a fact backed up by the camera car having been seen on the roads of Newbury in recent days.As soon as Google launched Street View, people pictured began complaining that their privacy had been compromised from the man walking out of a sex shop to someone sun bathing but the company says its face-blurring technology is now much more effective. So to see if you have been caught sunbathing in your back garden, log on to Google Maps
