FASHION chain H&M has confirmed that it will be opening a store in Newbury’s Parkway development, alongside Debenhams.Responding to a report recently done by Newburytoday.co.uk that the store is rumoured to be at the centre, H&M spokeswoman, Laura Maggs, confirmed the store was scheduled to open next year. “We hope our arrival will be well-received by local residents,” she added. The chain, which belongs to the owner of Ramsbury Estate and the north Hampshire village of Linkenholt, Stefan Persson, is one of only two confirmed for the £150 million shopping and residential complex. However there are also rumours that New Look and Topshop will move in.
