RESURFACING work on the B4494 has started and the road will be closed until Monday, August 2.Diversion signs are currently in place via Oxford Road, A34 and Chieveley village.West Berkshire Council spokesman, Phil Spray, said residents and businesses had been informed.Resurfacing will also be taking place on Pyle Hill, Greenham, from Monday, August 9, for three weeks.Temporary traffic lights will be in place for the first two weeks, with a full road closure from Monday, August 23, for a week.There will be a diversion in place along Pinchington Lane and the A339.Mr Spray added that residents and businesses would be informed about Pyle Hill from tomorrow (Thursday).
