DONNINGTON Valley Golf Club is holding a special golf day next week to raise funds for a teenager golfer with cancer.Local golfers are clubbing together to raise funds for 17-year-old golf champion Lee Frame, who is needs treatment for Hodgkin’s Lymphoma Disease which is expected to cost £32,000.The event will be held on December 19 to help Lee find the money for experimental medication recommended by his consultants.They believe the untested drugs could be his only hope after other treatments failed.Donnington Valley Golf Club is now appealing to local companies to come forward and donate products and services to the golf day to help raise money for Lee's cause.The charity event tees off at 8.30am followed by lunch. A special disco and charity auction starts at 7pm with an admission of £5.00 per person. Lee’s parents, Bev and John said: “It is overwhelming to hear about the efforts of Donnington Valley Golf Club and its members in support of Lee.
