Forthcoming talks of Thatcham Historical Society include Jane Austen's Hampshire family and scenes of crime
 

THE next meeting of the Thatcham Historical Society will be held on Monday, September 29.
There will be a talk by Elizabeth Proudman on ‘Jane Austen and her Hampshire family’ at Kennet School in Stoney Lane from 7.30pm until 9pm.
Guests will pay £1.50 for the talk but society members can attend for free.
Following this, Ken Wells will give a talk on 'Scenes of Crime' on Monday, October 20.
This again will be held at the school from 7.30pm until 9pm with guests paying £1.50.
