Post mortem examination fails to establish cause of death
Tue, September 02 2008

Police are not treating the death of a man found in a car in Burghfield as suspicious

A POST mortem examination carried out on a man's body found in Burghfield has not been able to establish a cause of death.
However police are not treating the death as a criminal matter.
The body of a man, believed to be in his early 20s, was discovered at 1pm yesterday afternoon when a member of the public walked past a blue Vauxhall Corsa parked in a lay-by in Mill Lane and found the body in the back seat of the car.
A post mortem examination on the man, who has still not been formally identified, was carried out this afternoon (Tuesday, September 2) but the cause of death is still not known.
Thames Valley Police spokesman, Adam Fisher, said: “Inquiries are still ongoing, but his death is not thought to be a criminal matter.
“The man is not expected to be formally identified until tomorrow afternoon.”
