tour of Britain
Andy,
I don't see what a race meeting has to do with tour of Britain. Have you not heard of the tour de France. Same sort of stupidness.

distressed teenager
I agree .... what was she doing out at that time of the night , were her parents even aware that she was out at that time ? Maybe they thought she was staying at a friends house , who knows but whatever the reason i hope she's ok now and not too shaken still . Well done to her for kicking the man and scareing him off !!

theft of bike
Just to say a quick thank you to the thief who stole my sons bike from Newbury station on bank holiday Monday. He saved up for the bike and you must be very proud of yourself as must your parents as how else do you explain your new bmx bike to them which cost a fortune. The very distinctive red mongoose bmx bike was very special to my son and you have now ruined their summer.

Distressed Teenager
I was astounded to read the article about a fifteen year old girl who was "confronted" at twelve thirty on Saturday morning. What was a teenager doing out on her own at that time of night? Did her parents know where she was?

Thatcham Girl
I have just read about the 15 year old girl who was grabbed by a man in the early hours of the morning. This is shocking in its self. But what i find more shocking is that a 15 year old was out at that time at all!! I persume her parents will want to blame everyone apart from them selfs.( As a mother of a 15 year old girl) that CHILD should have been safe at home in the care of her parents not walking the streets!!

Cycle Race
Will the cyclists be making use of West Berkshire's wonderfull cyclepaths for the final stage of the race? Rather than creating a numourous traffic holdups while roads are closed...
