Injuries jolt Hungerford

Dorchester Town 1 Hungerford Town 0HUNGERFORD will be grateful for a midweek of match inactivity after striker Charlie Mpi and winger Alan O’Brien were forced off through injury during the first half of the club’s first visit to Dorchester on Saturday.

Mpi took an early clattering and lasted only seven minutes and O’Brien limped off just prior to the break.

Mark Draycott had an early effort ruled out for offside but Dorchester, playing their first game under new manager Graham Kemp, netted the decisive goal nine minutes into the second half when Nathan Walker was allowed to head the ball across the ...
