Spanish silver for Carolyn

TRIATHLON: Team, Kennet’s Carolyn Craik won the silver medal in her age group at the Paguera-Mallorca ETU Challenge half distance European championship triathlon on the Spanish island on Saturday.

Competing in the veteran 50-54 age group, she had to ta ckle a C1.9 kilometre swim betweebn Playa Tora abd Playa de la Panama bfore embarkng on a 90 km bike ride and closing 21 km run, clocking an overall time of 5 hours 39 minutes 18 seconds.

That placed her just over two minutes behind age group winner Sabine Greipel of Austra with another British girl, Sadie Murphy, in third place, ...
