Thatcham Youth summer playdays a success

CHILDREN in Thatcham were entertained over the summer holidays with a series of free fun events in the town.

Local voluntary organisation Thatcham Youth put on four events, which proved a big hit with families with young children during the school holidays.

Two Playdays in the Park and two Movie Mornings offered families somewhere to entertain their little ones for free.

Hundreds of people enjoyed the playdays on July 30 and August 13, which offered bouncy castles, face painting, children’s entertainers Uncle Charley and Fred in the Shed, arts and crafts and sporting activities at The Moors playing field, with many visitors ...
