Safe stolen from Thatcham Subway in overnight break-in

OFFENDERS forced entry into a Thatcham sandwich shop this morning (Tuesday) and stole a safe from the premises.

Thames Valley Police was alerted to the incident, at the Subway store on Bath Road, at around 2.25am following a report that a burglary was taking place there.

All of the offenders are said to have been wearing masks and dark clothing, with one also wearing wellington boots and a large overcoat.

The safe was loaded into the back of the vehicle, which was covered in mud but looked similar to a dark-coloured Subaru estate car, which then headed off in the direction of the ...
