Thatcham Sainsbury’s opens its doors

SAINSBURY’S in Thatcham celebrated its opening last week but residents have already complained about parking problems. 

The store on Chapel Street, on the junction of Coombe Court, was opened when Prior’s Court School pupil Ben cut a ribbon last Thursday. The school will serve as the store’s charity partner of the year.

Community and events fundraiser from the Prior’s Court charity, Jo Trezise, said: “We are thrilled to have been involved with the new Thatcham Local and on behalf of the student who attended the ribbon cutting we would like to thank the store for inviting us today and are so pleased that ...
