West Berkshire bursting with beautiful blossom

Experts say 'perfect weather conditions' are responsible for some of the best spring blossoms seen in recent years

WEST Berkshire residents are being treated to an explosion of colour, with beautiful spring blossom appearing throughout the district.

Although the sight of blossom is not unique for this time of year, experts say that 'perfect weather conditions' over recent months is to thank for the spectacle.

You have been busy sending your blossom pictures in. The first, taken by Tony Roe, is of a magnolia in bloom at the offices of Tony Roe Solicitors in Brewery Court, Theale.

The second, of blossom outside St Nicolas Church in Newbury, was taken by Margaret McDonnell.
