Watermill Theatre goes from strength to strength.

In 1964, the Watermill in the picturesque villllage of Bagnor was semi-derelict. Daivid Gollins, whose family owned it, converted the building into a tiny theatre, doing much of the work himself .In 1967, the Watermill became a professional theatre and has since gone from strength to strength, due in no small part to the late Jill Fraser, who died in 2006. During the 25 years that Jill owned and ran the Watermill, she transformed it from a 26 week rep to an all-year round theatre. It continues to provide top quality entertainment and attracts audiences locally and from much further afield.
