More than 300 runners took part in the Englefield 10k run on Sunday.

The event, held in the grounds of the Englefield Estate, is organised by the Rotary club of Reading Abbey.

First to cross the finish line was Scott Kennedy in 37 minutes and 35 seconds.

Funds raised are donated to charity, with Hope for Tomorrow, a charity that brings cancer sufferers chemotherapy treatment to their homes, being this year's chosen cause.

See tomorrow's Newbury Weekly News for a full report and more pictures from the race.
