CHILDREN in Need fundraisers are in full swing today (Friday) - including in Newbury town centre.

Members of Newbury Round Table were out in cheery force this morning in Northbrook Street, on the bridge near Griffins butchers, with passing motorists tooting their horns and waving in support.

Shoppers were taking time out to stop for a chat with the Round Table members, who raise money for local groups and charities

Newbury Round Table 391 is part of Round Table Britain and Ireland. The group meets twice a month for fun, fellowship and networking. For men aged 18 to 45 years.
