VOLLEYBALL: Newbury’s mixed teams had the better of their triangular fixture with Reading Aces Juniors at Trinity with the more experienced Hurricanes getting the best of their junior Academy side as well.

Hurricanes beat Aces 25-14, 25-5, a feat followed by the Academy team who scored a 19-25, 25-20, 15-8 win over Aces.

The all-Newbury clash saw the more experienced Hurricanes win 25-5, 25-21.

Sunday sees Newbury’s ladies take on Reading Aces and Basingstoke Lionesses at Trinity School with matches starting at 3pm.
