Edinburgh Fringe preview this weekend

A boy is eaten by a lion; a girl is burned to death; another girl is brained by a bust of Beethoven – fun for the whole family on Saturday as Newbury Youth Theatre preview their Edinburgh Fringe show at the Corn Exchange (7.30pm)

They've revised and remade their 2010 hit Cautionary Tales with a new company, a new story, some new songs and the benefit of five more years making award-winning theatre.

And they're delighted with the results so far... expect a playful ensemble, live music and touches of wonder in this award-winning company's trademark style of rambunctious storytelling.

Go support them before they head off up to Edinburgh for a run at the Quaker Meeting House from Monday, August 10 to Saturday, August 15. They are great young ambassadors for our town.
