West Berkshire Business Awards ceremony tonight?

The West Berkshire Business Awards are being held tonight at Newbury Racecourse.

Now in its third year, the awards, in association with the Newbury Weekly News, is an initiative to recognise and celebrate the often unnoticed success of the local business community.

The shortlists in the nine categories for this year are as follows:

PBA Accountants Small Business Award: Perfectly Posh Hair, We Love Pets, The Fork Lift Truck Association

The Newbury Racecourse Rural Award: 4 Counties Farm Services, West Berkshire Brewery, Jockey Club Estates

The Mercedes Benz of Newbury Customer Care Award: Nolan Osteopathy, We Love Pets, The Vici Language Academy LLP

Newbury BID Independent Retailer Award: Bravo Hairdressing, White Rose Bridal Rooms

Business Executive Advantage Charity and Innovation Award: Bravo Hairdressing, Gardner Leader, International Trade Solutions, Redbox Mobile Ltd

West Berkshire Council Charity & Community Award: Racing Welfare, Children 1st West Berkshire, Time to Talk West Berkshire, Education Business Partnership West Berkshire

Apple Print & Creative New Business Start Up Award: Elearning Marketplace Ltd, FuturePro Logistics Ltd, White Rose Bridal Rooms

Santander Independent Pub and Restaurant Award: Hoggit and Hoof, Brebis, Hare & Hounds

Roc Technologies Employer of the Year Award: James Cowper Kreston accountants, AWE, the English Provender Company
