WOODY a loveable but shy terrier , is looking for a happy home where he can enjoy a snooze after a gentle stroll.

The eight-year-old terrier is looking for a new best friend to spend his golden years with.

Jenny Hopkins, assistant manager at Dogs Trust Newbury, said:

“Woody is a loveable chap who loves nothing more than going for gentle strolls in the great outdoors. He is looking for a happy home where he can snuggle up on the sofa after a busy day and enjoy a snooze in front of the TV.”

“Woody is best suited to an adult-only home with a secure garden where he can potter about to his heart’s content. He can be shy around new people so would like new owners to get to know him before embarking on the journey to a new home. Woody would like to be the only pet in his new home.”

Do you think you could be Woody’s new buddy? Why not pop into the rehoming centre at Plumb’s Farm, Hamstead Marshall, Newbury, Berks RG20 0HR or call the rehoming centre on 01488 658 391.

Dogs Trust is the UK’s largest dog welfare charity and cares for nearly 17,000 stray and abandoned dogs each year through its network of 20 Rehoming Centres in the UK and one in Ireland.
