Police have released the identity of a West Ilsley woman, whose body was found in the River Thames in Goring last month.

According to Thames Valley Police (TVP) the woman, whose body was found on March 22, has been identified as missing person, Joan Sutcliffe, aged 82.

The deceased had been missing since Friday March 6 and her next of kin have been informed.

The death was currently being treated as unexplained, but was not believed to be suspicious, according to police.
