THE A339 northbound carriageway is set to close from 2.30pm to enable the recovery of an overturned lorry near the Vodafone headquarters in Shaw.

Police have advised motorists to avoid the area while the work takes place.

The driver of the lorry, a man in his fourties, suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene. No one else was in the lorry at the time.

Thames Valey Police were called at 10.44am. The South Central Ambulance Service and the Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service also attended.
