Headteacher charged with sexual offences involving girls under 13

A primary school headteacher who lives in Chieveley has been charged with sexual offences involving two girls aged under 13.
Christopher Field, aged 46, of Green Lane was charged with three counts of assault of a girl under 13 by touching and one count of inciting a girl under 13 to engage in sexual activity.
The incidents relate to when Mr Field was headteacher of Woodcote Primary School and occurred between 2010 and 2012.
He was initially arrested in connection with the offence on September 19 last year by Thames Valley Police.
He is now due to appear at Oxford Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday June 16.
