In case you have somehow managed to miss it – today marks the official start of one of the UK’s biggest and, very possibly, the best music festival.

Tickets for Glastonbury 2015 sold out in less than 30 minutes this year and lucky punters will be watching Florence and the Machine headline tonight, and also headline appearances from Kanye West and The Who.

The weather has unexpectedly performed a U-turn of governmental scale after earlier forecasts of a wet mud-fest, and forecasters now suggest that festival funsters may even need to bring their sunscreen for at least some of the weekend.

So are you one of the lucky ones at Glastonbury this year and if so, who are you most excited to see?

Please tell us about your experience and send us pictures of you, your friends, your tent, your mountain of beer and Wet Wipes to: trish.lee@newburynews.co.uk and you may get a mention in next week’s Newbury Weekly News and on Newburytoday.co.uk
