Car demolishes wall

THIS was the scene in Lambourn last night (Wednesday) after a car careered out of control and demolished a wall.

The incident happened in Wantage Road, near the junction of Sheepdrove Road.

Residents said they were watching television around 9.15pm when they heard a huge crash.

They said the three occupants of the red Skoda Fabia were taken to hospital but were not believed to have been seriously injured.

The garden wall was completely demolished in the incident.

Thames Valley Police later confirmed that they were called to the incident at 21.09pm to reports of a Red Skoda hitting a wall.

Police said that three people were in the car at the time and that one person was taken to hospital and that nobody sustained serious injuries.
