A MAN has been arrested following a burglary in Newbury in the early hours of Monday morning.

Police were called to Dene Way at around 3.35am after two men were seen breaking into a shed at the rear of a property.

A 34-year-old man of no fixed abode was arrested nearby shortly afterwards.

He has been released on police bail until October 6.
