THE A339 has now reopened following a collision between a van and car near Headley.

The incident caused havoc for rush hour commuters, with motorists reporting queues back to Kingsclere on the northbound side and Newbury Retail Park on the southbound carriageway.

The van rolled onto its side following the collision and the road was closed for around 20 minutes while the vehicle was recovered.
