Appeal for missing Hungerford man

A MAN missing from his Hungerford home since Sunday, November 1, may be in Wiltshire.

Police have appealed for information concerning the whereabouts of 76-year-old Alan Clarke.

He was last seen in Cold Harbour Lane, Hungerford, at 10am on Sunday.

He suffers from dementia and is believed to be wearing blue jeans, a grey jumper and a navy blue anorak.  He was carrying a black rucksack.

A spokeswoman for Thames Valley Police, Charlotte Redman, said: "We have had reports that he may be in the Wiltshire area. There have been possible sightings in Salisbury, so we are adding that to the search area."

If anyone has any information about Mr Clarke's whereabouts contact the 24-hour police enquiry centre on 101.

If you don't want to speak directly to the police you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111. No personal details are taken, information is not traced or recorded and you will not go to court.
