Road closures set to cause misery for north Hampshire drivers
Roads in several villages affected by two-day closures
MANY temporary road closures are set to cause headaches for drivers around several north Hampshire villages, effective from Monday (Nov 23).
The closures, for surface treatment, are expected to last two days and include: Adbury Lane, Bishops Green, (from Ecchinswell Road to Burghclere Road), Baughurst Road, Wolverton and Baughurst (from the junction with Wolverton Road to the junction with Wolverton Lane), Heath End Road, Heath End (from Ball Hill Road to Chalkpit Hill),Chalkpit Hill, East Woodhay, (from the county border to Heath End Road) and Hollington Lane, East Woodhay (from Bartletts Down Lane to Abbey Wells Lane).
Also affected are: part of Hollington Lane, Highclere, (from West Ridge to Hollington Lane), Westridge, Highclere (from Tubbs Lane to the A343 Andover Road), Church Lane, Highclere (including Dead End Spur and Back Lane) and Seven Stones Lane, Highclere (from the junction with Church Lane to Fox’s Lane).
Penwood Drive, Highclere (from Fox’s Lane to the A343 Andover Road), Fullers Lane, Highclere (from Woolton Hill Road to Abbey Wells Road) and Well Street, Burghclere (from Sydmonton Road to the junction with Spring Lane) and Spring Lane, Burghclere (from Hart’s Lane to Well Street), White Hill, Ecchinswell (from Well Street to Hydes Platt) and Cow House Lane, Ecchinswell (from White Hill to the junction with Adbury Road), also Hyde Lane, Ecchinswell, (from Knightsbridge Lane to Eccinswell Road)
Ashley Warren, Sydmonton (from Cole Henley Road to Sydmonton Road), Cole Henley Link Road, (from Cole Henley Road to Larks Barrow Hill) and Gore End Road, Gore End (from Ball Hill Road to Hilliers Farm Lane), also Hilliers Farm Lane, (from Ball Hill Road to Hilliers Farm Lane).
