A MAN has been air-lifted to hospital from Headley this afternoon (Thurs) with life-threatening injuries.

South Central Ambulance Service (SCAS) were called at 12.02 pm to the Thornford Road area, following a report of a 62-year-old man who had fallen 15 ft from a ladder.

He suffered serious, life-threatening head, shoulder and leg injuries, according to the ambulance service.

An air ambulance landed at Headley Common in Thornford Road and the man was then air lifted to Southampton General Hospital.

An ambulance and paramedic were also sent to the scene.
