AN unexplained death of a man in Newbury today (Monday) is being investigated.

Police and ambulance crews were called to Hampton Road just before 2pm.  

A spokesman for Thames Valley Police, Gareth Ford-Lloyd, said that officers were called to establish the circumstances surrounding the unexplained death.

He said that the man's next of kin have been informed.
