A flood alert has been issued for the River Pang this morning (Sun).

The Environment Agency (EA) issued the flood alert at 7.31am today, affecting a stretch of the river from East Ilsley to Pangbourne and Sulham Brook.

According to the EA, levels of the River Pang were falling steadily this morning, however levels are expected to rise again later today, with flooding of low lying land and roads expected.

The weather forecast is for further heavy rain this evening and tonight.
