A CHIMNEY fire at a Baughurst pub this afternoon (Tuesday) was extinguished in half an hour.

Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service (HFRS) sent fire engines at 2.15pm to the Badgers Wood pub, in Wolverton Road.

The small chimney fire was extinguished by firefighters using rods and a stirrup pump.

Firefighters left the scene at 2.42pm.
