Meet the NWN editor tomorrow (Friday)

YOU can have a chat with the editor of the Newbury Weekly News in Northbrook Street between 10am and noon today (Friday).

Andy Murrill will be in the paper’s promotional mobile unit with Newbury News Ltd chief executive James Gurney and wants to talk to readers about the newspaper and any local issues they want to bring up.

Andy said: “This is my third ‘meet the editor’ event and I hope it will give readers the chance to talk to me personally about the things that matter most to them.

“The Newbury Weekly News has been a big influence in the local community for 149 years and enjoys a very close relationship with its readers.

“I want to know what people most value about their local newspaper, and how we can get involved further in supporting and being part of our community.

“I look forward to meeting as many of you as possible tomorrow.”
