Did the crime take place in an area where the cctv used to be? or in a place where there has never been cctv?

I hope that, if convicted, that the assailants are given a suitably harsh sentence and banned from the town.

Probably unlikely on past performance; suspended sentence perhaps & some community service.

Was the recently reactivated CCTV used to identify these thugs?
