TADLEY firefighters were called to a single vehicle accident in Mortimer West End yesterday (Tuesday) evening.

One fire engine from Tadley Fire Station was called at 9.56pm, to Church Road, to the incident.

No-one was trapped, or hurt. 

A second pump was alerted from Whitley Wood Fire Station, in Reading, but was turned back en route, as no longer required.

Firefighters made the scene safe and the incident was closed at 10.39pm.
