A man has been arrested on suspicion of causing criminal damage to a hedgerow in Midgham.

The 61-year-old, from Cold Ash, is currently in police custody.

Officers were called to the A4 at 9.45am after it was alleged that a man had damaged a hedgerow.

The man was also arrested on suspicion of assault.

    Anyone know his name ? Someone told me it was Anchor Vans CEO , but can't believe that he would have been so silly as to get himself Arrested . Hang on, just seen a picture and on fb and Twitter .. Seems like it may have been him damaging public property again, should know better at 62 yrs old !!
