RUBBISH found alight down a farm track in Upper Bucklebury this afternoon (Thursday) has been put down to a suspected arson.

One fire engine from Newbury was called at 2pm to Briff Lane, where a pile of blazing rubbish was discovered almost burnt out.

Firefighters extinguished the remaining blaze before leaving the scene at around 3pm.
