Air ambulance

AN AIR ambulance landed in Tadley this morning (Mon), but took off without any passenger on board, after a patient was instead taken to hospital by road.

South Central Ambulance Service (SCAS) confirmed the Hampshire and Isle of Wight air ambulance landed in The Green, Tadley, following a call at 6.29am today (Mon) and to an incident at Brookside Walk, to attend a medical emergency.

The ambulance service was unable to reveal any further details about the incident.

A rapid response vehicle and a land ambulance were also sent to the scene and one patient was conveyed by land to the Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital, in Basingstoke.
