Fire in Northcroft Lane not being treated as suspicious

A WOODLAND fire in Northcroft Lane, Newbury yesterday (Sun) evening was not being treated as suspicious.

One pump from Newbury Fire Station was called at 6.28pm to a small fire in a woodland area.

Thames Valley Police (TVP) were also at the scene, but the blaze was not being treated as suspicious, police confirmed today (Mon).

The incident was closed at 7.06pm by the fire service.
