WEST Berkshire Ramblers will be meeting at the Nature Discovery Centre, Thatcham, for a walk through Thatcham to Ashmore Green along the Kennet and Avon Canal towpath. 

The Ramblers will meet at 10am for more information contact 01635 230054.

There will be plenty of fun and entertainment at Enborne and Hamstead Marshall Flower Show and Fete.

Held at Hazel Paddock, opposite Enborne Primary School, the annual event offers attractions including a tea tent, brass band, barbecue and bouncy castle. 

Visitors can also take part in the tombola, raffle, and a variety of games, including archery and coconut shy.

Keen gardeners, bakers, jam-makers and handicrafters from across the villages have been busy preparing their entries in the hope the judges will award them the Cornelia Countess of Craven Challenge Cup.

The show will be held from 2pm, and all money raised goes towards the Enborne and Hamstead Marshall Garden Society. Entrance and parking is free.

West Berkshire Museum will be hosting a number of events with its Saturday Stories from 11am and 11.30am, while the Newbury Embroiderer's Guild will be holding a workshop from 10am to 1pm.

There will be an open air showing of Quentin Tarantino classic Pulp Fiction at Shaw House. Doors open at 7pm for an 8.30pm start. Tickets can be purchased from www.cultscreens.co.uk
