Police appeal over criminal damage at Newbury pub

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a motorbike was pulled over in the car park of a Newbury pub.

Thames Valley Police has released CCTV images of two men who may have information in connection with the criminal damage incident at the Swan Inn, in London Road.

At approximately 5.30pm on Thursday, February 25 a man entered the pub's car park taking hold of the handlebars of a Yamaha motorcycle before pulling the bike to the ground and walking away.

Police Community Support Officer David Maggs, based at Newbury Police Station, said: “Thames Valley Police would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident. We would particularly like to speak to the two men in the CCTV images as they may have important information which could help with the investigation into this incident. Please get in touch by calling the Thames Valley Police enquiry centre on 101.”

If you do not want to talk to the police you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111. No personal details are taken, information is not traced or recorded and you will not go to court.
