Newbury estate agents expands

NEWBURY estate agency Jones Robinson has branched into Wiltshire after merging with a Devizes-based company.

The Jones Robinson Group announced the union with estate agency Martin Walker this week.

Director Charles Robinson said: “Our merger with Martin Walker in the Wiltshire town of Devizes opens up a whole new county for us – allowing Jones Robinson to bring its distinctive style of estate agency to a wider audience.

“The coming together of the Jones Robinson Group and Martin Walker brings an overnight boost for local home movers. For those with a property to sell or let, we are now tapping into the mass home moving market in Wiltshire and the wider South West locale.

“This joining of forces is an exciting prospect during a buoyant time in the property market.”

Martin Walker, founder of the Devizes-based agency which will continue to trade under its current name, added: “Uniting with the Jones Robinson Group has made me even more passionate about delivering a first-class service to home movers in Devizes, Wiltshire and the wider South West of England.

“My name will continue to be displayed above the door and I have no intention of stepping away from the business. Our wonderful team remains unchanged too, providing continuity of care and an unbeatable bank of Wiltshire knowledge.”
