AN Aldermaston man has been charged with affray following an incident in Thatcham earlier this year.

An altercation occurred between three men on the A4 at the junction by the Old Police Station, between The Moors and Broadway, at about 10.45am on Monday July 11.

The men returned to their vehicles before driving towards Reading on the A4.

They then exited their vehicles on the A4 close to the bus stop by Pipers Way where a second altercation occurred.

During the two altercations two men were assaulted, a 28-year-old and a 29-year-old.

A 26-year-old man from Aldermaston has been charged with one count of affray and is due to appear at Reading Magistrates' Court on October 19.
